We lead the way towards a sustainable shipping industry.

The Challenge

The global shipping industry accounts for around 3% of global emissions, contributing to climate change.

It is fundamental for all industries to decarbonise and meet reductions targets. The global transport industry is currently not on track to meet the targets set by the Paris Agreement. The IMO has set ambitious targets to reduce the carbon intensity of shipping emissions by at least 40% by 2030 and 70% by 2050 from 2008 levels.

Decarbonising the shipping industry is an integral part of the wider global energy transition.

The Solution

At GREEN MARINE, we offer methanol-based maritime transition solutions.

Methanol power delivers significant reductions in CO2 and NOx, eliminating harmful SOx and particulate matter, meeting and exceeding IMO and Paris Agreement emission reduction targets.

With in-house capabilities and support functions across the entire value chain, we facilitate investments in methanol powered vessels across all market segments.
